Konami invade i cieli con Birds of Steel
Konami ha diffuso il primo trailer ufficiale di Birds of Steel, gioco di combattimenti aerei con elementi MMO ambientato durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, che arriverà il 15 Marzo su PS3 e Xbox360.
Il gioco offrirà 20 missioni basate su fatti storici realmente accaduti più altre appositamente create per il gioco, e darà accesso a oltre 100 aerei provenienti dalle flotte alleate e dell’Asse. I velivoli sono riprodotti rispettando ogni dettaglio degli originali, come il classico Spitfire, il P-51D Mustang o il Messerschmidt 109. Ognuno degli aerei reagirà realisticamente sia alle variabili condizioni climatiche che ai danni provocati dal fuoco nemico. Il sistema di controllo potrà inoltre essere personalizzato a seconda delle preferenze del giocatore, variando dal puro stile arcade a un sistema estremamente realistico in cui bisognerà tenere sotto controllo ogni singolo aspetto del volo.
Birds of Steel naturalmente è dotato anche di un ampio comparto multiplayer, in cui i giocatori potranno allearsi o partecipare a immense battaglie aeree per stabilire chi è il vero asso della cloche. Lo sviluppatore Gaijin sta lavorando per creare tutta una serie di missioni interessanti per gli utenti online, compresi veri e propri tornei che coinvolgeranno contemporaneamente decine di giocatori.
